Alex grew up in Zurich, Switzerland, and Los Angeles, CA, but calls Winston-Salem, NC, home. He lives there with his wife and their two rescue dogs, Barley (Mountain Feist) and Lily (Carolina Brown Dog). Alex is an avid tennis player, hiker, and he loves visiting the mountains. However, on any given day, he’s partial to basking in the sun on an isolated shoreline while catching a couple of waves.

Michelle oversees the day-to-day operations and marketing of the business at Cover Story Media. She holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and is a licensed insurance professional. Michelle brings over two decades of corporate business experience, having led strategic planning, marketing, and growth efforts for national brands including Bank of America, Mattel, Hanes, and licensed products including Harry Potter and Batman.
Her favorite moments include hanging out with her husband and two dogs, practicing yoga, traveling the globe, painting, and dancing her butt off at Jazzercise.
Jeff Butler / Analytics, SEO, And Affiliate Partnerships
Jeff has over a decade of management experience, both as a small business owner and as the director of an internationally recognized e-commerce site. Jeff helps Cover Story Media analyze traffic and user data, industry trends, as well as discover future growth opportunities for our brands. In his free time, Jeff can be found on a golf course or playing guitar while dreaming about being a member of My Morning Jacket.
Sadie Cornelius / Marketing, PR, And Creative
Sadie helps with brand management, graphic design, social media strategy and marketing initiatives. She has more than a decade experience in digital and traditional media for a wide-range of companies and industries. Originally from Kansas City, Sadie is a proud graduate of the University of Texas and currently resides in Washington DC with her husband. She is a vegetarian (who eats bacon) and loves listening to public radio, practicing yoga and traveling the world.
Kimberly Alt / Research and Content Management
Kimberly helps with writing and research. She has been writing professionally since 2013 with the goal of helping consumers to make more informed purchasing decisions. She is a graduate of Simpson College with a degree in Multimedia Journalism. She enjoys traveling and has lived in many places, including Thailand.
